Darkness take me,
From the place I love,
To the place I hate.
For the place I hate,
Is forever my home.
 
The dragon wards off the dark,
Wards off the place I hate.
My connection to life,
My connection to you.
 
Darkness shall befall me,
Should this dragon leave my hand.
Life shall taunt me,
Should this dragon stay.
 
Life can taunt,
If you taunt with it.
For I will stay.
