Papercut

My life I never lived,
Until that day.
Happiness was in me,
The first time in my life.
It was so short,
Those few weeks we had.
I was injured by a writing,
My life was fading.
A thin strand from the sky,
My life hung onto.
Weeks my soul was sad,
Until the day she said yes.
My life was good,
But still wounded.
My soul was bleeding,
Until it died.
I had enough of the pain and suffer,
I had it end that fateful day.
To this day I wish I had that pain,
Suffering I was happy,
My life was whole.
My soul was bleeding,
But I was whole.
