Overcast
This day today the light shines through,
Different than the others, dark and dreary.
These clouds I’ve known, for weeks now,
Are broken by the sun.
Still there, though not as heavy.
The day that passed, the problems I had,
Are both passed and stated.
My problems I said, and so understood.
For them to come again, would return the clouds.
But with them stated and known,
Returns the clouds I hope will not.
The following days, I hope will clear,
The clouds to pass, to return another day.
If the clouds stay and thicken,
My life shall slow,
No longer will I run, to show my energy.
No longer will I be pain free,
Body and soul, heart and mind, bleeding.
These clouds shall stay away,
My life shall run still.
